Two and 1/2 years of Guys Karate and he hasn’t looked back since, he enjoys every class & enjoys the challenges of learning in an encouraging manner. Never a struggle to get him to classes as he really enjoys it & all the instructors make everyone welcome & bring out the best in all the students. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a supportive environment to learn something new & keep fit.

I have looked around for a school that teaches Shotokan Karate in the Newcastle area and have tried a couple, but found GKS to be the best. The systemic approach to training and also focuses on the traditional values of the art.

The teachers at this karate school were so so patient with my son even when he showed challenging behaviours I cannot thank them enough for how much confidence they gave my son! Will definitely be back once he has settled into big school
