Little Ninja

Little Ninja 3-4yrs

MARTIAL ARLTS FOR PRESCHOOLERS | AGES 3-4 YEARS

Little Ninja is Guy’s Karate School's martial arts program specifically designed for children aged 3–4 years.

At this age, children are developing rapidly. They are becoming more independent, learning to follow instructions and discovering how to interact within a structured group environment.

Our Little Ninja program combines martial arts fundamentals with games, movement and age-appropriate activities to make learning exciting while building the foundations for future karate training.

WHO IS LITTLE NINJA FOR?

Little Ninja is designed for 3 and 4-year-old children.

It is ideal for preschoolers who are ready for a little more structure and independence than our Tiny Tigers program.

Whether your child has previously participated in Tiny Tigers or is completely new to martial arts, they can start Little Ninja with us.

WHAT WILL THEY LEARN?

Little Ninja introduces children to the foundations of karate while continuing to develop important physical and personal skills.

Children will work on:

  • Basic karate movements
  • Stances and footwork
  • Punching and kicking techniques
  • Balance and coordination
  • Listening and following instructions
  • Focus and concentration
  • Respect and discipline
  • Confidence
  • Memory and learning skills
  • Working as part of a group

The goal isn't simply to teach children karate. It is to help them become more confident, capable and focused young people.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A LITTLE NINJA CLASS?

Classes are structured but fun.

Children participate in a combination of karate activities, movement exercises, games, drills and instructor-led activities.

They may practise basic punches and kicks, movement patterns, balance exercises, coordination activities and simple karate combinations.

We also introduce children to the routines and expectations of a martial arts class, helping them learn how to listen, take turns and participate respectfully.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS ?

Little Ninja can provide benefits both inside and outside the dojo.

Confidence – Encouraging children to try new things and overcome challenges.

Discipline – Learning to listen, follow instructions and complete activities.

Coordination – Developing better control, balance and movement.

Focus – Learning to concentrate and stay engaged.

Social Development – Learning how to participate positively within a group.

Fitness – Encouraging an active lifestyle from an early age.

Resilience – Learning that improvement comes through practice.

Self-Control – Beginning to understand how to control their body and behaviour.

DO THEY NEED EXPERIENCE?

No experience is required.

Children can join Little Ninja whether they have previously trained in martial arts or are stepping onto the mat for the very first time.

Our instructors work with each child according to their individual ability and stage of development.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THEY JOIN?

Once your child joins Little Ninja, they have a clear pathway through our junior martial arts programs.

As they grow and develop, they can progress into Little Samurai, then Karate Kids, and eventually our Senior Karate program.

Their skills, confidence and knowledge develop alongside them.

I wasn’t sure if I would be able to start karate in my late 30’s, but from the beginning Guy’s Karate made me feel welcome. I have greatly enjoyed the senior classes, and I have learned a lot in my first year. The instructors are excellent and generous with their time. I would recommend Guy’s Karate to anyone looking for a high-quality karate school in the Maitland area.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice in karate school for our son Kodi. He has SO much fun and he always looks forward to attending classes. On top of that it truly is a family friendly karate school. Best school in the area in my opinion.

My son was attending a different karate school prior to GKS, one which we weren't happy with. Since coming to GKS he has remained engaged, he participates in every session, gets excited to go and really has fun each time. The senseis want the best from their students. The lessons teach skills to help the students in every day life, not just karate. They are very family oriented and passionate.
